I'm Adam Ogrodzinski, self-employed and trading as Ogrodzinski Pianos. I'm responsible for how your information is used for this website and the enquiries you send me. You can contact me about privacy at ogrodzinskipianos@gmail.com.

When you get in touch

If you contact me through WhatsApp or email, I use the contact details and information you choose to share to answer your enquiry and arrange the service you've asked about. This may include your name, phone number, email address, location and details of your piano. Please only send what is relevant to your enquiry.

For enquiries about booking a service, I use this information to take steps at your request towards providing that service. For other questions, I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to people who contact my business. You don't have to provide information, but I may need a way to reply and enough detail to help.

Visiting the website

Squarespace hosts this website and receives technical information, including your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you view and where you arrived from. This helps deliver and protect the website. My basis for this is my legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. Squarespace also processes some information for its own platform purposes, as explained in its privacy policy.

Analytics and cookies

I use Squarespace analytics to understand how people find and use the website. This includes information about visits and activity, alongside general location, browser and device information. I use consent for optional analytics cookies. Google Analytics is not currently connected.

The website uses essential cookies to work properly. Optional analytics cookies are restricted until you accept them. They help distinguish visits and sessions. You can accept or decline these cookies and change your choice through Cookie preferences at the bottom of the page. Declining cookies does not stop you browsing or contacting me.

The WhatsApp link opens WhatsApp so you can contact me. Website analytics does not read your WhatsApp messages or confirm that a message was sent or a tuning booked. The Instagram link takes you to Instagram, which has its own privacy settings.

Squarespace's cookies have different lifetimes depending on their purpose. Details are available in the Squarespace cookie guide.

Where information is handled and how long it is kept

I use Squarespace for the website, and Gmail and WhatsApp for enquiries. These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the US. Google and Squarespace describe their use of the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for covered US transfers and approved contractual safeguards where applicable. I keep enquiry information for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any related service or follow-up, taking account of unresolved questions and any legal need to keep it. Once it is no longer needed for those purposes, it is deleted. Providers may also retain information for their own service and security purposes, as described in their privacy information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for a copy of your personal information, corrections, deletion, or limits on its use. You may also have a right to receive information in a reusable format. These rights depend on the circumstances.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can also withdraw consent at any time through Cookie preferences. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful beforehand. For a privacy request, email ogrodzinskipianos@gmail.com.

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
